TAP Months Proclaimed by Governor for Texas Products
Governor Preston Smith proclaims November and December 1971 as Texas Agricultural Products Months to boost Texas grown foods and fibers. The TAP program, begun in 1968 by Commissioner John C White, targets 15 000 Texas outlets with billboard radio and direct outreach to promote beef pork dairy fruits cotton and more.
