Women Leaders Speak on Equal Roles in Business
Governor Miriam A. Ferguson and Judge Hortense Ward addressed 225 women at the University Club emphasizing that women must pursue business success and public influence without sacrificing their womanly ideals. They urged removing the inferiority complex and promoting international goodwill through women’s leadership. The event closed with toastmaster Mrs. Guy E. Browne and a welcome from the governor, with an invitation for delegates to a Rice Hotel breakfast.
