Dixie-Winner Co Ships Rig to Tracy Field
A dispatch from Killeen Texas May 2 states Dixie-Winner Drill Company of Temple orders a rig and boiler moved to the Tracy field Milam County to drill a McMahon location. State geologist reports expect a 2200 to 2500 foot well and note the current rig fits Tracy better than Killeen. A heavier rig is due soon and operations start at an early date.
