Cameron Texas received the personal effects of Edmund Krull, a former post office employee who died serving in France. The shipment confirmed his death and honors were given on the battlefield. Weather observer Prof. J. F. E. Watts reports four month rainfall in Cameron comparing 1918 to 1917. Total rainfall more than doubled with 1918 at 5.99 inches vs 1917 at 2.38 inches. Only heavy rain in 1917 occurred April 4 with 1.36 inches.
