Rural Electrification Visualized by Texas Experts
Texas power and light company and Texas A&M engineers outlined a plan to extend rural electricity across Texas. The Dallas Agricultural Club heard projections showing 564 miles of rural lines serve 7 096 customers with a range of electric farm uses from churns and irons to irrigation motors and incubators. The system would span 2 051 miles of transmission lines and support about 118 550 customers with roughly 100 000 kilowatt hours.
