Southern Baptists raise over 16 million for 75 Million Campaign
The Conserva tion Commission reports 16,851,100.68 dollars paid by Southern Baptists on subscriptions through December 1, 1920, with funds allocated to foreign missions, home missions, states, Christian education, hospitals, orphanages and ministerial relief. A spring drive runs March through April to collect remaining pledges by May 1 1921 ahead of the Chattanooga convention.

The Cameron Herald reports Hon H B Terrell died in San Antonio at 1 30 AM. A long prominent Texas figure, he served as State Senator and State Comptroller and led a publishing company owning Cameron Herald and Thorndale Champion. The Rockdale Reporter joins in mourning this loss.

Weatherford Texas March 28 The Parker County Farm Bureau a comparatively new organization has put over two deals which have meant hundreds of dollars to the farmers according to C E Holtzclaw Secretary Manager After successfully purchasing and distributing seed Irish potatoes among Farm Bureau members at a great saving a car of hens was made up and shipped With the assistance of County Agent Robert C Withers and the State Warehouse and Marketing Department the shipment was placed so that despite a decline in the market just at the time the car was made up the shipment brought 1 200 more than if it had been sold in small lots.
