Postal Reform A Special Delivery
The House Post Office Committee reversed itself on a proposal to reorganize the U S Post Office into a government corporation similar to the Tennessee Valley Authority. The plan gaining momentum includes a 5.4 percent retroactive salary rise for postal workers, with Senate approval still needed.
