Land Blockade Near Hogan's Crossing Foreshadows Oil Test
Thrall residents joined by outside interests block access near Hogan's Crossing four miles southeast of Thrall to protest a planned deep oil test. About 2000 acres are involved with 1200 pledged or leased by promoters. tests aim to reach the Edwards lime around 2500 feet where past nearby tests reported strong gas shows and possible pay.
