Kunz In Good Condition After Train Car Crash
August Kunz of Cameron jumped from the path of a Santa Fe passenger train at the Rusk Street crossing Sunday night after signaling his stalled car. The south bound train struck the 1965 Ford, three hours late, injuring Kunz and damaging the vehicle. Frank A. Rogers, the engineer, said Kunz tried to signal in time but could not avoid the collision. Kunz was treated for head lacerations and chest injuries at St. Edward Hospital and reported in good condition by Wednesday.
