Thief Gets Rich In Oil Strike Returns Diamonds
In San Antonio Texas on February 24 a thief sent back three thousand dollars worth of diamonds stolen a year earlier from a woman's safety deposit box at the Gross National Bank. An unsigned note claimed the thief made a hit in oil and would return the remaining gems later. The owner had not missed the stones.
