Mrs. FE T Roberts, 42, burned to death when fire destroyed her home five miles south of Rockdale. Her husband, away at a nearby building, heard the flames and could not rescue her or belongings. A five gallon can with coal oil was found nearby. Roberts was a prominent local farmer.
