Coyote Bounties Unclaimed In Lampasas County
Lampasas County Chamber of Commerce started a predator control program last month funded by area rancher donations. No coyotes have been collected. A plan to raise the bounty from 50 to 100 dollars was halted as hunters say hot weather makes coyotes lay low.

Three injured in two car crash near Pon derosa Restaurant

Milam County reported an April unemployment rate of 2.6 percent with 7,823 employed of an 8,031 civilian labor force and 208 unemployed. The rate compares favorably to Texas at 4.9 percent and the U.S. at 6.9 percent, according to the Texas Employment Commission.
