Odd Fellows Sermon Draws Cameron Attendance and Firemen Day Promises
Last Sunday at 11 o clock Rev Arbuckle of Cameron Baptist preached the Odd Fellows annual sermon. About 40 Temple Lodge B P O E members arrived to confer initiations on 17 Cameron citizens. A banquet followed at Elite Cafe with toastmaster Monta J Moore. Fireman Day on July 11 will feature races with $200 first prize $100 second $50 third and invites Texas fire departments to attend and compete for winnings.

Death of Annie Bowers After Brief Illness
Annie Bowers 21, devout and healthy parishioner, died Monday at 4 AM within a week of Sunday church attendance. She was the fourth daughter of Mr and Mrs John Bowers and was laid to rest Tuesday in the Catholic cemetery. Father Spinneweber preached a touching funeral at the Catholic church as the Herald extends condolences to the family.

Court Adjourns Two Weeks At Farmers’ Request
