Lone Cowboy Kit Joy Seeks Frisco Fame Ends in Robbery
Southwest Texas cowboy Kit Joy longs for San Francisco bright lights and flirtations with city life. He robs the Southern Pacific at Gage, hides loot near Miembres, is jailed, breaks jail, and is eventually shot, captured, or killed as four companions die or are lynched. After 14 years in Santa Fe prison he reflects that wishing for Frisco too much can ruin a man.
