Milam County DWI case sees key evidence suppressed
Milam County Commissioner Burke Bauerschlag of Thorndale faced a DWI case arising from a November 2007 arrest after deputies testified about an unlighted plate and erratic crossing on US 79. A March pre trial ruling suppressed a videotape and a field sobriety test, affecting the case as Bauerschlag awaits trial for a not guilty verdict to restore his license.
