Steward's Meeting Celebrates Keys Tenth Anniversary
Last Tuesday Rev Ira Key and Mrs Key hosted stewards and wives at the parsonage decorated with gladiolas nas turtiums and sweet peas. The gathering marked their tenth wedding anniversary with gifts a pin contest and a dessert service. Others attending included Mr Weems Mr Rogers Miss Jewel Joslin and Miss Maidie Wever.

In Cameron on Monday June seventh at high noon Mr. R. W. Hailey married Miss Bobbie Ruble with Rev. H. K. MacFadyen officiating in a modern Presbyterian service. The couple are prominent young residents of Lott Texas. Mrs. J. B. Rector of Buckholts is in Cameron for Chautauqua. Mr. Ed Neinast visits his parents at Burton this week.

On Thursday evening June 3 at the bride’s parents home Maude Pace of this city and Mrs. F M Stone of Anson Texas married Rev H R MacFadyen officiating. The couple, under white daisies, received guests then enjoyed refreshments. The bride is daughter of J W Cone. groom serves as Deputy Sheriff in Anson and they will reside there.
