Summer Recreation Program Opens June 16

Three car loads of tomatoes were shipped over the Santa Fe by the Foster Produce Company. No 1 greens bring 8 cents a pound and No 2 greens 4 cents. pinks fetch 10 cents a pound or five dollars a bushel. Each car holds 24 thousand pounds, yielding 1920 dollars for No 1 and 960 dollars for No 2. The three car shipment totaled 4800 dollars for the producers.
