Naval Reserve Seeks Former Shipfitters in Cameron Area
Former navy shipfitters and reservists from the Cameron area are needed to train new recruits at the Waco Naval Reserve Surface Division. Navy veterans receive a full day's pay for each Wednesday night drill, possibilities for promotion, retirement benefits and full pay for two-week training cruises annually.

An Austin firm won the low bid of 95 595 41 for 6.2 miles of FM 908 construction in Milam and Burleson counties. Zeigler, resident engineer at Hearne, will oversee the work.
