Barrett of Cameron admitted July 19 to Newton Memorial Hospital for medical treatment.

Emergency livestock loans for beef cattle sheep and goats were outlined by Roy M. Wright FHA supervisor. Loans up to 2500 and more at 5 percent for up to 3 years cover feed and operating costs during disasters.
Rev. Maurice Grove of Jackson Mississippi spoke at First Christian Church on Sunday to about two hundred worshippers at evening Union services. Grove began ministry in 1934 at Cameron and led the church five years. He is now State Secretary of Christian Churches of Mississippi.
