Election Box Evidence Spurs Verdict In Cameron Case
Witnesses testified that 250 ballots were printed for Hatter and a school board race in Cameron. The box containing ballots was guarded, moved to a bank, and opened in court revealing altered votes for Miss Hazel Thomas and others. Judge Watson ruled Critchfield and Key defeated. Cochran, Warner and Thomas declared elected.
