Dr. W. R. Newton of Cameron received another 30 day reduction in his two year sentence for the 1942 assault to murder of Dr. Roy L. Hunt of Littlefield. The commutations stem from blood donations to indigent patients at the M. D. Anderson Hospital and the Board of Pardons and Paroles recommended the action. Drunk Driver Linked to Fatal Auto Death Freed on Pardon
