State Sen. Murray Watson of Waco will speak at First Methodist Church at 10 45 p m Sunday January 29 on Responsible Christian Citizenship. Members with questions on public legislation should send them to Sen Watson care of the church by Wednesday January 25 for inclusion in his presentation on current issues before the 60th Texas Legislature.

Yeomen Host Giddings In Friday Basketball Night
Yoe high school hosts a Friday triple header at Yoe High gym with the Yoe men facing Giddings. Freshmen play at 5 pm, Jr Varsity at 6 30 pm, and the varsity around 8 pm. Coach Murrah calls Giddings one of the district's strongest teams. In Tuesday action Caldwell beat Cameron 79 63 led by Satterwhite with 27 and Perrin 15.

Rogers School Raises Lunchroom Prices in February
At the January meeting the Rogers school district Board increased lunch prices by ten cents. A twenty meal ticket now costs seven dollars while a single meal is forty cents. Effective February first, punches on old tickets will be invalid and cash refunds will be issued in the central office. This is the first price hike since 1959.

Landscaping Sessions at Cameron by Agricultural Extension
The Agricultural Extension Service will sponsor landscape and farm income tax meetings in Cameron next week led by J. D. Moore. Three Texas A&M specialists will discuss Landscaping at 2.39 p.m. Monday January 23 in Simon George Hall. An afternoon insect and disease control session runs 2:30 to 4 p.m., with an evening program 7:90 to 9 p.m. on Homesite Landscaping.

Panhellenic Luncheon Planned With University Guest Speaker
Mrs Dorothy W Dean Dean of Women's Staff at The University of Texas will speak at a Brazos Valley Panhellenic Association luncheon on Saturday January 28 at 12 oclock at Briarcrest Country Club Bryan Reservations close January 25 and can be made by calling 822-2960 or mailing box 245 Bryan. The event invites new alumnae to join the annual meeting and lunch. The Farm Income Tax School is set for Tuesday January 24 at 730 pm in Yee High School Ag Building. The Rogers Consolidated district Tax Office will be open the last two Saturdays in January from 9 am to noon for taxpayers.
