The former St Monica’s Cameron pastor Rev Spinneweber now serving at St. Anthony home in Houston spoke in Cameron this week. He praised Cameron parishioners, noted his good health, and congratulated the community on the new church building under construction.

State of Texas commands Milam County officers to publish a guardian’s final account for the estate of Frank D. Dreher deceased. Myrtle Dreher guardian, asks for discharge. hearing at Milam County Court in Cameron, first Monday in February 1928. All interested parties may appear and contest the account.
Adolph Hotelling, once a deacon of Christchurch in Owosso, Michigan, was sentenced by Judge Frederick W. Brennan to life in solitary confinement at the state prison in Marquette for the murder of Dorothy Schneider. The courtroom scene included a blow from the victim’s father, Leslie Schneider, who testified alongside a physician and a court reporter. Hotelling had pleaded guilty and was noted for his apparent piety prior to the crime. Katherine Baggett, Southwestern student, will defer reentry until next fall due to illness.
Milam county aims to add more dairy cows and seek a dehydrated milk plant for Cameron. The commercial club approves financing for inviting Missouri agriculture officials and coordinating with East Texas Chamber of Commerce to push dairy development and local cheese or dry milk facilities.
Miss Lucille Dickard of Ruston Louisiana and also of Austin where she is taking special work, is visiting Mrs. W Triggs and other friends.
