Texas Bankers Association lecturing team will visit Cameron on Saturday January 20 to address farmers and businesspeople on topics from roll and roll rot to tick eradication. Experts include Prof Blodgett of A M College and Ed R Kane from the State Department of Agriculture. Lectures start at 2 pm in the courthouse with banks defraying expenses.

Mrs. John A. Smith hosted the A. Y. L. S. Club Friday with Miss Eva Butts of Maysfield as honoree but illness kept her away. Thirteen guests joined, contestants were judged on familiar advertisements, and Mrs. Joe Harlan was declared a winner. Fancy needlework and conversation accompanied refreshments as the gathering dispersed.
