Little River Healthcare adopts new medication management system
Little River Healthcare System launches a closed loop medication management system to boost patient safety and staff efficiency. Nurses use a single drawer per patient and barcoded wrist scans open only the correct medication drawer, reducing human error. MDG Medical installed the system at Richards Memorial Hospital amid the Blackhawk Healthcare merger forming the system.
