Rainy weather cut about 150 telephones in Southwestern Bell's Rockdale exchange shortly after noon on New Year's Day. Moisture in cables interrupted service to Alcoa's Rockdale Works and Industrial Generating Co. All phones in Rockdale were back by 5 p.m. Tuesday.
