City considers overcoating and blasting two water tanks
City officials reviewed tank repair options on 7 1/2 Street and 22nd Street. Overcoating the larger tank and blasting the smaller would start the contract with annual maintenance for 10 to 20 years. Estimated costs are 124,630 and 237,127 with annual payments declining over the term. Revenue sources include a water department fee increase as part of the proposal.
