Trial of Robbers in Dallas Feb. 21
Albert L. Rowan W S Scrivner and three others face a February 21 state criminal court trial for the murder of postal employee George W Street during the January 14 Jackson Street robbery in Dallas Texas. Rowan and Ben Luna already received twenty five year sentences in federal penitentiary. Scrivner's sentence is withheld. Perjury warrants were issued against Sirch A Harper a defense witness who testified Rowan was in a restaurant during the robbery window.

Last Saturday Mr and Mrs Sid House visited Cameron to see his sister Mrs T L Randolph. They met Mrs Charley Mitchell of Rosebud who arrived with her son Edward for an operation at the Sanitarium. Edward’s surgery was Friday and he was reported doing well Saturday. Also present were Mr Paul Potter of Branchville and nephew Mr W L Buchanan and wife.
