Milam County Sets Constable Pay At Two Year Average Plus 10 Percent
Milam County Commissioners Court fixed constable salaries by taking the 1947 and 1948 fee earnings and adding 10 percent as the new basis. The plan aims for monthly pay with up to 12 checks if warranted, noting some precincts will have small salaries due to low earnings.
