J N Gunn was found guilty in Belton district court of murdering his stepson Hobart Keaton and received twenty years of hard labor. The verdict came after a lengthy trial with a packed courthouse and relatives in tears. A motion for a new trial will be filed as Gunn awaits another murder trial for the killing of his wife Sarah Gunn.
