Texas Business Climate Named Best In Nation
The Texas Manufacturers Association announced Texas tops a 221 page Fantas Company study for best business climate in the nation. Findings highlight no corporate or personal income taxes, strong labor laws, and Texas leading in manufacturing job gains with 150 000 jobs from 1967 to 1974. The report also notes Texas ranks highly in per capita taxes and low welfare costs while lacking corporate income tax and maintaining right to work.
