Milam County Delegates Attend 76th Texas Farm Bureau Meet
Six Milam County Farm Bureau voting delegates joined more than 1,200 delegates from 207 bureaus at the 76th Texas Farm Bureau Convention in Fort Worth from December 5 to 7. Officials Kenneth Dirschke and Vernie Glasson addressed the gathering as policies on national issues were adopted for submission to the American Farm Bureau Federation meeting in Seattle in January. Delegates Darlene Tucker Jana Beckhusen Carolyn Cobb Derwood Tucker Jay Beckhusen and Derwood Cobb represented Milam County during the final day of the business session.
