Belton Jail Holds Turovec Slayers Without Bail
John Turovec proprietor of a Temple lunch stand is dead after a Monday shooting. John L. Lewellen Homer Joyce and Harry Shanklin are jailed in Belton with Shanklin free on bond for 1500 dollars. Witnesses described a confrontation outside Zurovec place near First Street as shots were fired.
