Cameron Tracy Oil Field Developments Highlight New Wells
The D S Gilleland tract yielded a pay well estimated at thirty barrels drilled about seven hundred feet deep. A Swanzy tract completion produced a good well at two hundred fifty feet. Developments northeast are inching forward, with formations similar to the Davis. An association led by S B Hefley and others is drilling northeast of the Davis well, building a der Rick on Ray Jenness tract. Cameron backers push for field growth, urging city support and readiness for increased business as oil activity expands.
