Santa arrives in Milam County for the annual Christmas parade drawing thousands to Cameron downtown Friday afternoon. St Nick will greet fans, distribute candy, and boost Yuletide excitement as youngsters line the streets for this cherished holiday tradition.
The Post 54 Scouts, ages 14 to 18, donate 50 to Cameron Public Library building fund and aid Toys For Tots. They train weekly for radio operations, sell advertising, read news releases, and obtain FCC licenses before broadcasting their own Post 54 Show. Sponsored by KMIL Radio Station, the group also participates in parades and conferences.
