Publication in Cameron Herald for three weeks.
Clifford Franck, 29 of Houston, writes from the state penitentiary in Huntsville describing the death chamber. He details facilities, lighting, guards, a weekly walk, a Victrola, three daily meals, and staff including Assistant Warden Schram, Boss Bowden, Boss Mack, and Warden Speers. He notes solitary confinement and the "little green door" leading to the electric chair.
