Remembering Roberta Black Collins and Lance Collins
Roberta Miller Black Collins 93 of Cameron and former Bryan resident died August 2. Services were August 4 at Kathryn W Green Chapel with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery Cameron. Survivors include husband Thomas Black, children Douglas Myrna and Dwayne, siblings, four grandchildren and multiple greats. Also surviving is Lance Aaron Collins five, who died July 28 in Austin and was buried at Ben Arnold Cemetery after services at Sts Cyril and Methodius Church. Memorials to Ben Arnold Cemetery are requested.

Walter Lee Jackson 62 Cameron got ten years for Burglary of Habitation with enhanced second degree felony. Clarence Paul Smith 54 Rockdale eighteen months for probation violation on a state jail felony. Kristen Roberts 19 Rockdale five years deferred adjudication for a state jail theft with restitution and weekend jail. Charles Nictavius Jefferson 24 Temple twelve years for two counts Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver plus parole restitution. Christopher Brandon Gomez 23 Hearne two years state jail probated three for Operating a Boat Without Consent. Larry Sundance Young 36 Rockdale seven years for Burglary of Habitation with restitution.
