Milam County Farmer Beaten En Route to Temple
Milam County farmer Anton Srenensky alleges he was abducted from a Santa Fe train near Cameron on July 21 1922 and beaten by three men who accused him of being a scab. He was taken toward Temple then released near Milano and later sought help in Rockdale reporting the assault to local officers. The affidavit dated July 22 1922 was sworn before Justice Ed Gunn noting injuries and threats against returning to Temple.
