Soil preservation through terraces boosts Milam county farm yields

The Clyde Hensley farm in Milam County Texas shows how 5 year old terraces have raised cotton output from 3 bales to 8 bales per acre and improved drainage. The farm blends orchards, blackberries, grapes and a commercial cantaloupe and watermelon push with hotcaps and fertilizer.
