Building permits issued in March in Cameron totaled 17050, says city secretary W. H. Stafford. Friday events include slide rule spelling writing debates and ready writing short hand and number sense at 11 a m. Declamation and extemporaneous speech at 1 30 p m finals at 3 p m. Athletics events at the field begin 10 a m and continue Saturday.
