Eddie Storey Buried in Marlow Cemetery
Edward B. Storey, 49, died in a Galveston hospital on March 29 1942 after illness since December 22 1941. Funeral services were held March 30 at the Marlow Baptist Church with Green Funeral Home in charge, interment in Marlow Cemetery. He is survived by his widow two daughters his mother and two brothers Bill and R L Storey. He was born and lived in Marlow and farmed there.

Former Cameron Man Named to UT Board of Regents
John H. Bickett of Dallas Sawyer and Cameron origin was appointed to the University of Texas Board of Regents by Governor Coke R. Stevenson to fill the unexpired term of Leslie Wagoner. Dean White Injured In Car Wreck Near Taylor
Dean White sustained head chest knee and arm injuries in a car wreck Sunday night near Taylor. He is recovering in Cameron after ambulance transport from the scene. Mrs John Bryan Dies At Home In Cameron
Mrs. John Bryan died at the family residence in Cameron early Thursday April 2 1942 after a paralytic stroke. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday April 3 1942 from the family home with Rev Bob Pool officiating and Oak Hill cemetery as the burial site. Canady Pioneer Dies. Funeral Held At Little River
W. J. Canady, 69, longtime Jones Prairie resident, died at his daughter’s home in Cross Plains on March 25 1942. Funeral services were conducted at Little River Church by Rev. P. I. Caperton.
