Governor M. Clifford Townsend leads Indiana in a tallest corn contest after challenging Illinois. prizes of 15, 10, and 5 dollars and a trophy will be awarded at the Indiana State Fair as growers bring their tallest stalks to the Prairie Farmer booth.
A joint meeting of the township boys and girls 4-H clubs was held last night at the Frank Hedderich home. Guests included vocational teacher Ervin Olsen his wife Camden Principe Roe Hunt and Rev and Mrs Western of Bringhurst. Seventy attendees were reported.

Governor M. Clifford Townsend commissioned a 56 page pamphlet detailing services of every state agency from the Accident Prevention Bureau to the Year Book Bureau.
