Northern Indiana Public Service Company sent a check for 12946.17 to Carroll County treasurer for fall taxes. The company has paid 1 419 928 52 in taxes this year, equating to more than 13e out of every dollar of gross revenue. A separate check for 3922 27 was issued for Indiana Service Corporation taxes.

Mrs Neal Boyd Fort Wayne visits Will Paden and Mrs Sarah Cole. Miss Clara Lamping of Minneapolis arrives for an indefinite stay with Will Paden. District Sunday School Convention attended by many from local churches at Rockfield. Mr and Mrs Caude Parker and Norma Jean Pittsburg visited Elmer L Wise and Deloris. Mr and Mrs Orvie Harmon and sons moved to W O Pettiner property on east Main Street. Armick and Rice families spent Sunday with Amos Suntheimer of Fort Wayne. Mildred Armick returned home with them. Oliver Stone and daughter will move to the D T Wyatt property on west Washington Street.
