A 78-year-old Indianapolis man unaware of name donates his 400 volume library to Indiana state prisons. He kept the collection for 50 years, including encyclopedias, biographies, history, travel books and fiction, hoping inmates benefit from reading. Mrs Catherine Farmer aged 83 and life long native of Carroll County died at her home near Burrows Tuesday. She was married nearly sixty three years to Isaac Farmer and valued simple living. The body will be taken from Baker Funeral Home to the Burrows ledge then to Burrows Christian Church for last rites by Rev John Arnott and Rev Thomas with burial in Burrows Cemetery.
