Carroll Boy Scouts Invited To I U Day At Indiana University

Carroll County Boy Scouts are invited as guests of Indiana University for the 11th annual Boy Scout Day on Saturday September 25. Bo McMillin and the Crimson football squad will entertain scouts at the Centre College Indiana University game. The outing includes campus tours exhibits swimming and a wrestling show with high school students invited. Scouts need a permit from their council to attend free. a spring date is planned for the $75 Boy Scout award ceremony.

4 H Beef And Dairy Calf Tour Announcement

Mr. J. C. Ralston of the State 4-H Club Department will lead Carroll county on Tuesday July 20 for a beef and dairy calf tour. The event begins at 8 30 A M at the D L Dickinson farm with a noon basket dinner and informal program at Flora park. Bring a covered dish and table service. A weekend storm caused extensive damage around town with a bolt striking a maple tree at Center Garage toppling it, another hitting Camden Elevator with no damage, and brick showering from walls in a home.
