Local Notes and Visits from Deer Creek Area

Helen Ramsey and George Leavenby are listed as ill at home. Missionary society met with Mrs. Carl Jones on Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Estelle Pugh Claudia Pugh and Danny visited relatives in Delphi Sunday. Mrs. Clara Williams is somewhat improved. Mrs. McKinny is progressing. Wilbur Miller and baby back from Cass County hospital. Fred Martin home on leave from naval duties and heads to California for further training. John Ridenour home from Pearl Harbor visiting his mother Mrs. Stella Benson and relatives. Presbyterian Aid Society held an all day quilting with Mrs. Earl Fouts last Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Feverett Rice of Logansport and Donald Rice and wife were guests of Flora Wright Tuesday. Donald, three years overseas, returned to Florida to finish schooling then will resume service. Electric light bills due no later than fan 2.
