Dr Henry Weimer and sons from Bridgewater Virginia were guests of Orval Shank. Laura Jackson advanced to esquire in Knights Pythias at Logansport. Camden lodge sent a large delegation. Mr and Mrs Orville Hinkle hosted a New Year party. Camden guests included Dr B C Kerkhove, Mr and Mrs Lee Sink, Mr and Mrs Carl Raher, Edna and Edwin Raher.

Planning Conference at Purdue February 16 17

First annual Indiana State-Wide Planning Conference to be held at Purdue University February 16 and 17 will cover governmental and rural planning housing and related topics. Governor M Clifford Townsend and renowned planning experts will speak. Sponsored by the State Planning Board Purdue engineering extension service State Housing Board American Planning and Civic Association and American Society of Planning Officials. The conference aims to protect property values and coordinate public agencies and foster cooperation among local, state and federal governments.
