Community Club Dinner Delights Neighbors with Music
A large turnout at the Community Club dinner last Thursday enjoyed fellowship and plenty of food. Mrs Jeanette Hyman attended with a 42 piece school or field alumni band that played fine selections. Robbers stole about $100 in goods from the Center garage Friday night including an electric drill tires gasoline oil candy and cigarettes. They entered by removing a back window and unlocking the door.

Aged County Resident Dies After Long Farm Life
Lovinnie Cather ine Neibel of the farm east of Chien died early Sunday morning February 6. Born in 1867 in Shelby county, she joined St. George Lutheran church as a child and later St. Peter's Lutheran after moving here. Survived by sister Anna Neibel, brother Joe Neibel, and niece Mrs. Naomi Lovell. Funeral Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the residence, Rev. Arthur Fabianske officiating. Interment in Paint Creek cemetery.

Body of Mrs. Cree Found by Fishermen
The body of Edna Cree, 54, was recovered from the Wabash River Monday night by two fishermen near the Tippicanoe county line, fifteen miles below Lafayette. She had been missing since December 10, 1937. Funeral services were held Tuesday in Flora, burial at Maplelawn, with the husband and a daughter surviving.
