Christmas Gatherings and Illness Reported in Local Notes
The past week includes Mrs. Lee Sink visiting her son in East Chicago and a DelphI visit by Edging and family. Dorothy Parrett is in Cass County hospital with pneumonia while several youths including Junior Gish and Dean Snoeberger were ill. Agnes Kennedy of Danville plans holiday time with Cecil Kennedy's family. Walter, Mac and Edward Johnson of Charlestown will spend Christmas here. Dr Eva Kennedy attended a Junto Club meeting hosted by the Maggarts. A community Christmas party at the recreation hall was held Monday evening from 7 to 9, with treats from Camden Grocery stores.

Christmas visitors and church notes from Delphi area
Miss Carolyn Hedderich, a Purdue resident, left Fort Lauderdale for the holidays. Sunday visitors at the William AR included Rev W C Rogers and several Lafayette residents. Golden Rule class hosted a chicken supper at the Lutheran church and officers were elected. The northern Indiana high school band contest is set for Delphi on April 19 with Karl Kraft as band instructor chair.
