Three items will increase the county budget totaling eight thousand six hundred twenty dollars from last year. The apportionment includes old age pension and registration fees. At a local 4 H club meeting James Barnes presided with Mr and Mrs Hawn among attendees. The event featured sewing and baking activities and a fashion revue won by Mabel Nipple with judges and refreshments for about twenty present.
Margaret Beck daughter of Mrs Dale Beck of township won the dress revue at the Cass County 4 H club fair. Her party dress earned her the right to represent Cass County at the Indiana State fair.

Mrs. Margaret J Shaw aged 138 years died Sunday evening at 7:40 at the home of her daughter Mrs Buel Ulm in Delphi She was a respected Carroll county resident The Grimm funeral home arranged services Wednesday afternoon with Rev Harry B Parker of the Presbyterian church officiating Burial followed in the Masonic cemetery at Delphi
Mr and Mrs Omer Smith Mr and Mrs Lee Shaffer Miss Ruth Kirkpatrick of Delphi and Mrs Roy Gardner of this place will travel Saturday to Evansville Indiana to attend an American Legion Auxiliary meeting.
